Shirley became a professional artist after retiring from teaching Art.
She has achieved success in oils, watercolour and mixed media and is
renowned for her work featuring Beverley Minster and its environs.
Shirley enjoys exploring the relationships between natural and man-made
landscapes and is also know for work on Venice, Provence and for her
portraiture work.
