My work involves the creative use of silk, linen, flax, wool and hand-made paper.
My techniques include shibori dying, tie-dying, felting, and hand-stitching. These are used to create framed compositions that imaginatively explore a wide range of natural images and to construct three-dimensional forms and decorative vessels which are best described as ‘textile sculptures’.
