I paint predominately in watercolour as the vibrancy and transparency of the medium always excites me. Much of my inspiration is drawn from plants and motifs from nature because of the way the intricate shapes and patterns interact with each other.
Challenges arise when exploring complex negative spaces which are increasingly the starting point for many of my ideas.
