Watercolour painting has been an interest and a hobby for most of my life. Now retired I am able to devote more time to painting, and continue to enjoy 'capturing the light', both in landscape and portraiture. I relish the process of applying watercolour to paper, challenged by its potential to capture the most fleeting of effects, even though disaster may be encountered in the attempt.
