I have established pastel classes and workshops for all abilities in Pocklington.
Further workshops in pastel are available at my studio for 4 to 6 students only. This ensures that each student will receive personal tuition. Workshops are suitable for all abilities covering a variety of subjects including Wildlife, Animals and Portraits. Some workshops will be tailored to suit beginners in pastel.
I am also available to art groups and societies for demonstrations and workshops.

Rose and Robin Horspool
Vista Arts are starting their third year of arts courses, visits and lectures, based in North Dalton, Beverley and York with an expanded range, including art workshops by experts in their fields on Thursdays and Sundays at North Dalton. There are courses suitable from beginners up to professional level. They start on Monday 24th September, 2007.
NEW: Taster morning on the 20th October from 10am to 1pm. Cost £15, all materials and refreshments provided.

Polly Ann White
Polly runs courses in Mixed Media, Watercolour Painting and Botanical Illustration.

Her classes are at Bubwith, Ellerker and Newport. She is hoping to start another Botanical class in Kirk Ella after Easter. Her weekly two-hour sessions are lively and creative; students can discover new techniques, develop confidence in their work and enjoy the social aspect of learning with like-minded friends. Absolute beginners are welcomed and nurtured.

Polly has written & illustrated over forty art/design books and won the Sir Peter Kent Conservation Book prize for her Illustrations in a Gardening for Children book. She has been teaching young degree art students and adults for over twenty years.
